Strait Up is a non profit association nationally registered in Spain. We connect youth and civil society associations with resources and opportunities where they can develop their ideas, gain skills and become impactful community actors.

Our expertise is in international project creation and design, conflict resolution skills such as mediation, and organizational capacity building. The Strait of Gibraltar is our home and we are influenced by our location and reality on the Schengen border, where Europe and Africa meet. The concept of border underlies all we undertake: borders between nations, cultures, languages, educational systems, communication styles and mindsets.

Statutes:
1. Promote the participation of young people in political, economic, social and cultural life in the Strait of Gibraltar.
2. Promote healthy lifestyle habits in the Strait of Gibraltar area.
3. Stimulate debate around the EU project and the relationship between the EU and its south med neighborhood.
4. Provide opportunities for cultural exchange and cooperation in the Strait of Gibraltar
5. Promote gender equality.
