
Strait Up is non-profit association based in Tarifa, the southern tip of Europe and closer to Tangier, Morocco than any city in Spain. We use non-formal education and intercultural learning to connect with youth on both sides ofthe Mediterrean and create a sense of shared neighborhood that bridges continents and cultures.
Our mission is to create educational opportunities that support conflict resolution and peace building, as well as youth empowerment and development.

Our partners Two Plus Two will host a group that is excited about the topic of misinformation and polarization online. We have worked with Two Plus Two on other events and they always create an amazing experience for our participants. In this youth exchange 6 young peole from Spain will meet their colleagues from Finland, Armenia and Italy. Together they will have the opportunity to enjoy the urban culture of Napoles. This event takes place between November 24 and December 2, 2025.
School of Dialogue – Calotte Academy and Arctic Connections
Lassi Heinen is a renound Arctic scholar. He is founder of “Calotte Academy, School of Arctic Dialogue” and editor of “Arctic Yearbook” a peer-reviewed journal of scholarly articles regarding Arctic analysis, policy and security. We were honored when the Northern Policy Socierty asked if we would interview Lassi regarding the Calotte Academy’s approach to dialogue, science relevancy and interdisciplinary work and its applicability to other geopolitical contexts, such as the Mediterrean.
The Calotte Academy 2025 with the theme “The Future of Europe – A Northern Point of View” will take place from 10 to 15 November 2025 in the European Arctic.
